A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

Late yesterday afternoon we ventured out to Shuster’s Playtime Farm in Deerfield, WI, about 15 minutes outside of Madison. We’ve gone there every year since McKenzie was two, there’s just so much fun stuff to do! First, we watched the pig races, then she played on one of the many playgrounds, next we walked through the petting zoo, and rode a tractor “train,” and lastly we bought some super-delicious homemade fudge, apple crisp, and pumpkins. We actually ran into one of McKenzie’s school friends there, so they had a blast. =)

And Bennett slept the entire time in the Moby Wrap. He seriously loves that thing! In fact, sometimes if he’s absolutely hysterical it’s the only thing that calms him down. Anyhow, it was a fun afternoon. We still need to get pumpkins to carve, so that’s a trip for another day!
