This & That

First & foremost, Bennett is home! We got home last Wednesday at noon & it has been amazing just to hold him and cuddle him whenever I want. Here is a pic of him coming home. He’s such a sweetie. He is still on the bottle, which equates to endless hours of pumping & cleaning. *sigh* I really hope to get him breastfeeding soon. But either way, he is eating like a champ! Finally!

And here’s a pic of our first outing to Target. =)

And Sunday was my birthday! I’m 27 now. Awww, that’s like mid-late 20’s. I got my free birthday Starbucks drink (Strawberry & Creme Frappucino = amazing). Then the kids and I (weird to say!) went to Taste of Madison. There were 90 food vendors and live music. All the food was sample-size from $1-$4. Bennett slept the ENTIRE time! We were gone maybe 3 hours, and it went very smoothly. Yay! It’s definitely a big adjustment going from one to two kiddos, especially caring for them alone.

I also did a newborn photoshoot of Bennett at home. I love how they turned out! It’s definitely nice to have some without the tubes in his face—so I finally did his Birth Announcements! I LOVE them. I’ll post a photo of them after I mail them off, I don’t wanna ruin the surprise. =)

And today was McKenzie’s first day of Kindergarten (K5)! She was such a trooper, she didn’t even cry. Although, she did pout a bit. She even has her own locker. *tear* She is really happy to be back in school! And it was nice to have one-on-one with Bennett today. We came home & slept until noon. YES! It was heavenly. And when we picked her up and she was exhausted. It was a very relaxing day. =)
