I feel like there’s so much to do before Baby Boy arrives! I’ve already gotten a lot done, but I really want to have all his clothes & stuff organized too, which is currently housed in 2 giant storage bins. That’s going to be a chore!
Anyhow, today I had my first Non-Stress Test (NST), and Baby Boy passed with flying colors. Yay! I have the appointment with the high-risk Perinatal Specialist AND Neonatologist tomorrow, which I’m really looking forward to. I’m REALLY hoping they’ll discuss induction at 34 weeks so I can have some relief for the first time in 5 months. I will be absolutely CRUSHED if they say no. Right after that appointment I have a growth scan ultrasound and we’ll see how big he’s gotten. Then I have another NST on Wednesday morning…and we’re looking at the possibility of Jon coming home for a 4-day weekend! Wouldn’t that be amazing?! Time always seems more bearable with him around.
Also, I’ve also been stocking up on last-minute “necessities.” Although McKenzie initially slept in a bassinet in our room…inevitably some nights she’d make her way into our bed after a feeding, which is SO dangerous! I always wished I had a co-sleeper with her. And today I found a great deal for one on Craigslist—it was originally around $99 and I got it for $25. It’s like new! And I love that it folds up for travel. I’m particularly proud of this find.
And I just got this diaper bag, and I’m in love with it—I was looking for one that was more purse-like than diaper bag-like this time around. And it was on sale for 30% off, which was cheaper than a lot of the ones on eBay! We had this Eddie Bauer one with McKenzie, and I felt like a lot of the times it was empty or filled with unnecessary stuff.
I guess I should start going through those baby boy clothes now—and probably work on a birth plan and hospital list! It’s been so long since I’ve done those, any suggestions?
